Dr Janine Randerson is a media artist and Programme Leader of the Masters of Performance and Media Arts at AUT University in Auckland. Since 2006 Janine has collaborated with environmental scientists from NIWA, the BoM in Melbourne, the Environmental Research Institute in Denmark and invested social groups around the issues of climate and weather in her practice.
Jason Johnston is a long-time exhibition collaborator with Janine as installation designer and sound designer. He composes electronic scores based on patterns of scientific meteorological data. Jason is also a member of Substax; an underground electronic act based in Auckland.
